We provide top quality fish, direct from Galician fish markets, of Iberian origin (mainly west coast) to the whole world.

At Betmara, we work with the aim of bringing the highest quality and freshest wild-caught fish and seafood from the Iberian Peninsula to international consumers at a fair price.
All our fish currently comes from the Galician and Portuguese coasts, caught by small-scale artisanal fishing boats based in local ports. These boats set sail every day, regardless of the weather, to ensure that we have the best the sea has to offer on our tables.
For us, three key aspects are paramount:
• Product quality: Fresh fish of the day, selected piece by piece by our staff. All orders are consolidated at our base in A Coruña, where we pack and prepare the fish for shipment.
• Compliance with regulations: We strictly adhere to EU and national government guidelines regarding fishing bans and minimum sizes to guarantee a future where there is fish for everyone.
• PREMIUM service, with transparency and traceability: Just as important as having a good product at the source is ensuring it arrives in the best possible condition to our customers. That’s why our logistics are exceptionally well-designed to guarantee that the product arrives on time and in perfect condition.
We only sell products sourced from small-scale fishing methods (gillnets, hooks, and traps) and from local shellfish gatherers, barnacle harvesters, and divers, striving to protect ecosystems and ensure long-term sustainability.
We don’t store products: each order is handled individually and the catch is made fresh daily. We visit different fish markets to obtain the exact product requested.
Once the purchase is complete, we transport the merchandise to our base in A Coruña and ship it the same day to its destination, reaching major European markets within 24-48 hours.
